Keidi Keating, 27, moved to Spain in March 2004. As a writer for four years
in London she was determined to find
a similar position in sunnier climes.
It was by sheer coincidence that Keidi discovered the news of Colin’s illness and subsequent death.
After approaching Colin’s father, who was happy for the magazine to continue, Keidi began the difficult task of collating relevant information to enable her to introduce The Sentinella where The Sentinel left off.
She encountered numerous problems throughout this process, but finally The Sentinella was successfully launched.
Now, like before, locals can’t wait to get their hands on each new issue.
Along with more than four year’s professional writing experience at local newspaper and corporate communications levels, Keidi has also freelanced for glossy magazines, such as Viva España and OK!
